I actually took a photo of this very dragon on our recent trip there… so I was pretty chuffed to hear that it was expecting a wee komodo. I remember looking it in the eye and realising right there and then that if it weren’t for the inch-thick perspex dividing us, I really would be a dead man. But to look at it sitting there, you wouldn’t think it was the pinnacle of its evolution, at the top of the food chain, like no other.
