Where to start?

So much has happened in my reality recently it’s kinda hard to know where to start. The question that I most dislike people asking me is “What have you been up to?”. It’s such a crap question, and yet I find myself asking people the same question. The answer I always give is “not much” because I haven’t really been doing anything which would interest other people… mostly because most people aren’t really interested in what other people do anyway. I find it funny sometimes, to the point of almost smiling.

As some may know things with Rach haven’t been going too well, we haven’t really spoken to each other for a while now, I think we both know things aren’t going to work out and so yesterday I made it official, we had a chat and we both agreed things weren’t going well and to call it a day. All in all it was quite a stress free break-up, neither of us were really upset by it, we both knew we weren’t right for each other and it was time to admit it and move on. We actually laughed about how wierd it was that we were avoiding each other, like if we’d see we were walking towards each other we’d both sharply take an alternative route to avoid each other. Quite funny really.

Then I got a text from a friend of mine (who I’d recently fallen out with) saying, “i know we’re not talkin but just thought id let you know that i told that lad that i liked him, and now we’re meetin eachother! he told me he likes me aswell! thank you, x” Woo! I helped someone and they said thankyou and actually meant it. The whole reason we weren’t talking was because I told her in no uncertain terms to tell a guy she likes that she liked him. Sometimes I wonder why people take my advice about love life when I can’t get mine sorted properly.

OOh, nearly forgot, Saturday afternoon tootling about in my new hondadada at a set of traffic lights (can you guess what’s coming next?? can ya?) I’m behind a white Transit mini-bus on the left hand side of it. Half way across the junction and scrreeech CRASSSH! hissssss.
Some geezer had jumped the red light on his side of the junction and slammed his escort into the front right of the mini-bus who was turning right. It was a proper accident, steam was coming out of the engine of the escort and everything. I parked on the road leading off the junction, looked to see if anyone was injured which they weren’t and had a chat with the driver of the minibus and the police when they arrived… which took about 20mins depite the accident happening RIGHT OUTSIDE a police station. From my view (behind left of the mini-bus) i couldn’t actually see the impact, which I told the police so I was really just a witness to the lights being on green when the minibus acrossed the junction.

You know the things that happen and make you say “you dont see that every day”… bollocks to it! I create my reality so that I do see thing like that every day. Rarely am I truely bored.
